FIRST PRIZE AT ISOLA AWARD 2025 – A SIGNIFICANT MILESTONE

Isola Award is an annual prize organized by ISOLA, one of the most dynamic and influential design communities today, bringing together designers from around the world.

At Isola Award 2025, SNORM presented the Water-Fold collection, crafted entirely from solid aluminum sheets.

Drawing from the legacy of Eastern art, with a strong emphasis on the articulation of surfaces and forms, the objects in the Water-Fold collection are developed through the folding of two-dimensional planes. Each fold requires absolute precision to generate a functional three-dimensional object, capable of supporting its own structure as well as the weight of the user. In this process, every cut and fold plays a decisive role in shaping—and sustaining—the emergence of a new form.

The Water-Fold collection was awarded First Prize in the PRODUCT category by the Jury, one of the eight award categories of Isola Award 2025. The award ceremony took place on November 11, 2025, at 10:00 PM (Vietnam time), as part of Dubai Design Week 2025.

Following this recognition, Water-Fold will have the opportunity to be exhibited at ISOLA’s exhibition in 2026, held during Milan Design Week 2026.
